Creative Writing Challenge: "But...but I thought you were dead!"

“But…But I thought you were dead!” said Derek as I pointed the 9mm pistol at his forehead.
“Good bye Derek, you were always the weak one.” BANG. Derek’s limp body slid to the floor. I turned around to see the door opening. I fired, not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 shots into the door and heard screaming on the other side. There was a ladder to my left and a back exit to my right. “What to do, what to do?” “Back door.”I opened the door and parked possible for an escape route was Derek’s brand new Ferrari 458 Italia. Just as I started to walk down the steps to get to ground level I heard a guard shout stop and started to fire at me. I turned around looked down the sights of my pistol until I could see his head. Bang, Bang, click. “Dang I am out of ammo.” I ran up to the guard and took his G36 which is a fully automatic assault rifle. I quickly ran to the car and got in. “Wow Derek is stupid, left the keys in his brand new car. I floored it making the tires squeal down the road. Once I got on the freeway I hit about 160 mph.

10 Minutes Later

Me: Boss you there?
Boss: Yeah I am here.
Boss: Oh, hey how is it going?
Me: Okay I guess, you?
Boss: Fine thanks.
Me: I found a perfect vantage point of the airfield.
Boss: Great, hate to ask but how are you recovering from the “accident” with Derek?
Me: You mean the one where he tried to burn me alive or the one where he shot and killed my whole family?
Boss: Oh, umm both?
Me: I am fine I guess. I took care of it though.
Boss: How did that go?
Me: Well let’s just say it involved him up against the wall defenseless and me with a 9mm pistol in his face and I “accidentally” pulled the trigger. Oops.
Boss: HAHA. Well I am glad you took care of him in such a mature mater.
Me: Well I am going to go and get the Barret 50cal sniper rifle from the shed in Delafield.
Boss: Alright I will talk to you later.
Me: Bye.

About 20 Minutes Later

Me: Alright I am in position with an amazing view of the airfield.
Boss: Good.

About 20 Minutes of Waiting

Me: I have a visual on the target.
Boss: Great he should be in the second vehicle.
Me: What the big limo.
Boss: Yeah.
Me: The have parked and they are meeting with a grey van.
Me: The driver and passenger or getting out of the van.
Me: The target and his body guard are getting out of the limo and walking up to the driver and passenger of the van.
Me: They have opened the back of the van and to the looks of it there are about 2-3 million dollars in firearms.
Me: I have a perfect shot. Should I take it.
Me: I repeat, should I take it.
????: No you should not.
Click(the sound of the mystery man pulling back the hammer of his pistol).
Me: Boss we have been compromised.
Me: Boss I repeat we have been compromised!
Boss: No, we have not been compromised.
Boss: You have.
